Jilly & Bean really embody the spirt of what V.I. FERT is, and the community that has grown around it. Unfortunately, Jilly has recently crossed over the rainbow bridge. She will forever have a special place in our heart.
 
Both were surrendered after being found abandoned in a carrier crate inside an empty apartment without any food or water. Underweight and both having large infections, the V.I. FERT community rallied around these two lovable furballs. Jilly would eventually have three teeth removed that had caused an infection to spread into her chin and jaw. Bean had one tooth pulled, with the infection spreading up towards his eye. Both ferrets have finished their antibiotics and have started to gain weight after being converted to Raw food. After continued observation and follow up Vet appointments both have been cleared for adoption.
 
Despite their hardships they have been wonderfully gentle ferrets. Their estimated age is between 4 and 5, but they’re listed as 5 just in case. Jilly of loves to snuggle and Bean likes to ride on your shoulder!
